Lobbying and Advocacy Working Group

This is an active working group which primarily lobbies politicians (local & national) to push for changes to legislation/policies/proposals which adversely affect the climate and ecological crises. Often this involves researching the details of the proposals as well as the most effective way pursuing change. We have, for example, been successful in talking to local MPs and asking penetrating questions at council meetings.
