Biodiversity event 11th April

Help Get Exeter Buzzing About Biodiversity!

Sunday 11th AprilExeter XR Biodiversity Group is organising an action at Exeter Quay in mid-April to raise awareness about biodiversity loss and the climate and ecological emergency.

We plan to have a stall, XR banners and leaflets, info about wildlife and biodiversity, and to give out ‘bee balls’ and ‘tree balls’ with XR info as outreach.

Our crew would love some more volunteers to join us between 9am and 4pm to help set up and run the stall, and to talk to people (socially-distanced, of course) about the importance of biodiversity, and how people can take action personally and politically to support wildlife. There will be a rota for being at the stall so even if you can only commit to an hour we’d still love to see you. The planned date for the action is Sunday 11th April (with a possible option to postpone to the following weekend if the weather on the 11th is dreadful). Please email biodiversity@extinctionrebellionexeter.org if you can lend us a hand or for access to the rota.
