DISCObedience Dance

See our performance here.

There will be DISCObedience in Exeter on 16th December 5.00-7.00pm to entertain late night shoppers with our version of John Travolta’s Staying Alive. This is a fun action and an opportunity to don your bling or improvise. We will need dancers and others around to talk and give out leaflets. Please e-mail marilynspurr@protonmail.com if you are interested.

For last minute alterations to these arrangements, check here. Any changes will be posted by 3.30p.m. on the day at the latest.

We danced last Saturday in Bedford Square to great acclaim from the public and especially the children who joined in. Some of our dancers can’t be there on Thursday so we need some replacements and more people to give out leaflets and do outreach. At 7.00 p.m. we can shimmy on down to the General Meeting.

A polished performance is by no means expected so practice at home and there will be a rehearsal at 5.00p.m. on 9 December in Rougemont Gardens behind the library for half an hour and then onto the streets. To help you on your way there is a video to learn the movements:
