Description:

Learn about the history of Civil Resistance, theories of Non-Violence, and NVDA skills such as passive resistance techniques, how to talk to the police and the public, and how to use your support systems.

No prior knowledge is needed, just a fierce love of our planet and a sincere desire to protect all life.

Whether you’re new to XR or a seasoned rebel wanting a refresher before Rebellion, this will be a morning well spent.

Please bring your own water bottle and/or mug and any snacks you need to keep you going.

This training will refer to the risk of arrest that comes with all protest/direct action, but will not cover in detail your legal rights, what it’s like to be arrested, or likely outcomes. Please look out for ‘Know Your Rights’ training, or visit Homepage | Informed Dissent for more information on these topics.
