Barclays Bank

One of our rebels Marilyn staged a re-run of the Rebellion of 1 by sitting  on her own outside Barclays on Saturday 17th July for an hour with this sign.  The reverse said “I am terrified for all our children because of the Climate Crisis”. She explained why she was targeting Barclays to passers-by who stopped to talk.  It was a poignant and timely action.  As Marilyn said ‘This week we have seen terrible heat in North America and people in Germany and Belgium lost their lives and livelihoods in devastating floods. Unless we can achieve the Paris goal of limiting global temperature increase to 1.5 degrees, things will only get worse”.
